Since Carmen’s Group took over operations in early 2013, the Hamilton Convention Centre has undergone a dramatic transformation into one of Ontario’s premier event facility. With over $1 million in renovations and interior design changes, our facility is distinctly upscale, chic, and modern. Our commitment to providing a truly world class venue for our clients and guests ensures that every event is a memorable and inspiring experience.

When you first step foot into the fully renovated foyer, you will be greeted by an impressive water feature beautifully lit and uniquely adorned with a customizable digital projection. Exquisite new lighting fixtures adorn the ballrooms and corridors to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. As you take the escalators up to the stunning 2nd floor, you can’t help but admire the awe-inspiring artwork of renowned photographer Mark Zelinski lining the walls.

The corridors themselves are tastefully appointed with a multitude of vignette seating areas featuring sophisticated contemporary furnishings complimented by a coordinated paint theme. Floor-to-ceiling mirrors and dramatic foliage displays are carefully arranged to harmonize with each unique area of the building. Additionally, all of our ballrooms and meeting rooms have been upgraded with the latest state-of-the-art technology: high-definition projectors, digital screens, impeccable sound systems, complimentary WI-FI and other modern conveniences enhance the functionality of each space.

The third floor space features a beautifully refinished ceiling with nine beautiful crystal chandeliers, and lovely black granite countertops for the sizable bars located in the foyer. A beautiful mix of modern furnishings and appointments combined with the timeless warmth of solid oak accents is sure to please the planners and attendees of any event alike.
