Whether you’re joining us for a conference, gala, or meeting, getting here is easy. The Hamilton Convention Centre is centrally located in the heart of downtown, steps from hotels, restaurants, and transit.

From Hamilton International Airport
  1. Turn right onto Highway 6 to Highway 403 E.
  2. Take Main Street E Exit.
  3. Turn left on Summers Lane.
  4. The Hamilton Convention Centre is immediately on the right hand side.
From Pearson International Airport
  1. Take 427 South to 401
  2. Follow 401 W to QEW Niagara/Hamilton
  3. Take Highway 403 W, Brantford/Hamilton
  4. Take the Main Street E Exit.
  5. Turn left on Summers Lane.
  6. The Hamilton Convention Centre by Carmen’s is immediately on the right hand side.

HSR Bus

Hamilton Street Railway (HSR) provides frequent service to the downtown core.

  • Major routes stopping within a 5-minute walk include 1, 5, 10, 51, 52, and King/Queen buses.

  • Use the HSR Trip Planner or Google Maps for real-time schedules.

  • The closest major stops are MacNab Transit Terminal and King & Bay.

GO Transit

GO makes regional travel simple:

  • GO Bus: Routes from Toronto, Niagara, Burlington, Kitchener, and more arrive at Hamilton GO Centre, a 10-minute walk from the HCC.

  • West Harbour GO Station: Offers Lakeshore West train service and is a short rideshare/taxi ride (5 minutes) from the venue.

Rideshare (Uber, Lyft)

Set your destination to Hamilton Convention Centre, 1 Summers Lane.
The best drop-off/pick-up point is the Summers Lane entrance beside the plaza.

Taxi

Hamilton taxi providers (Blue Line, Hamilton Cab) service the downtown area with reliable response times. Taxis drop off directly at the main entrance.

Accessible Drop-Off

For guests requiring accessibility support, the Summers Lane drop-off offers curbside access with minimal distance to the building’s elevators.

If you’re staying downtown, the HCC is connected to major hotels, including the Sheraton, via the pedestrian bridge through Jackson Square—perfect for staying indoors during winter weather.

Where to Park

We offer dedicated, easy access to brightly lit and security-patrolled indoor, multi-level parking for guests through an outside parking management company, not controlled by the Convention Centre. Daily rates apply. Please note there is no overnight or 24-hour parking. Off-site, private vehicle parking is also available at numerous lots located nearby.
