At the Hamilton Convention Centre, our Event Services team works with you from the moment you book to the moment the last truck pulls away. With flexible spaces, in-house expertise, and a full suite of event support services, we make planning simple and executing effortless.

Event Services at a Glance

Accessibility

The Hamilton Convention Centre has made it a priority to provide an accessible and inclusive environment for all our guests. The Convention Centre is AODA compliant. As new standards are introduced, it is our goal to implement those changes or upgrades in a timely manner. In accordance with the AODA, we offer street level entrances, accessible restroom designs and spacious elevators. HCC also operates gender neutral washrooms on the second floor of the facility.

Audio/Visual

Our on-site partner, Soundbox Productions, provides full-service audio-visual support, technical staffing, and temporary electrical distribution for all events. Whether you’re hosting a meeting, gala, or large-scale production, their team ensures a seamless experience.

Electrical

Soundbox Productions is the exclusive provider of all temporary electrical distribution required for events, shows, and for all guest service providers throughout the facility. For detailed information and price quotes, please contact our in-house representative:

Food & Beverage

All catering is provided by our in-house culinary team, offering a range of menu options for breakfasts, lunches, dinners, receptions, and custom-designed experiences. We accommodate most dietary needs with advance notice, and our team will work with you to tailor service timelines to your event schedule.

IT & Technology

We offer venue-wide high-density Wi-Fi, dedicated bandwidth options, and customized network solutions. If your event has specific IT requirements, just let your Event Services Associate know, we’ll make sure you’re set up for success.

Loading Dock

Our indoor four-bay loading dock, freight elevator, and drive-in access make move-in simple for events of all sizes. Your Event Services Associate will work with you to coordinate schedules, contractors, and safety requirements so load-in and load-out run smoothly.

Parking

We offer dedicated, easy access to brightly lit and security-patrolled indoor, multi-level parking for guests through an outside parking management company, not controlled by the Convention Centre. Daily rates apply. Please note there is no overnight or 24-hour parking. Off-site, private vehicle parking is also available at numerous lots located nearby.

Safety & Security

We maintain 24-hour building security and can arrange additional event-specific staffing as needed. Our staff are trained in and follow comprehensive emergency and evacuation procedures.
